Hello! Thanks for visiting my site, my name is Amber Petrusa and I am currently a sophomore at NC State. I am majoring in Elementary Education and Special Education.

Why I Want to Teach

Ever since I was little I always wanted to be a teacher, I found joy in helping out others and giving back to people. When I lived in New York we had classes that submerged the special education classes and I loved working with the students because they are all so intelligent in their own ways. Working with special education students I saw how they get mistreated and looked down upon, yet they are human like you and me and they deserve to be treated like one. My goal as a future special education teacher is to make a positive impact on the special education community and spread awareness to others.

My site includes numerous things that I learned throughout my Technology for Educators Class (ECI). Many of my posts include content of things that I learned in the class, resources that are beneficial, and advice I was given!
