ECI Activities

At NC State I had the opportunity to take a technology for educators (ECI) class. In this class, I was introduced to numerous types of technology that can be used to improve your classroom! In addition, I also learned how to efficiently use technology and improve my skills. Here are two activities that I really enjoyed because they expanded my understanding of the use of technology and they challenged me to be creative.

Education at Home Video

The first activity that I would like to share is my video that I made on how education is at home. The coronavirus also known as COVID-19 had impacted education in many ways and challenged teachers all across the country to transform their classes into an online format. My video explores my experience and daily routine during this pandemic.

Digital Citizenship Poster

Another activity that I really enjoyed was creating a digital citizenship poster. In class we learned about the importance of educating our future students on the importance of being aware of the do’s and don’ts in the digital world. My poster is designed to target teachers and parents on the importance of keeping children educated about the internet and ways that they can stay safe.
